Woodpecker brings us the wisdom of intelligence and rhythm. 

Resourceful and determined, they inspire us to revive our abandoned dreams and keep hammering away at them until we are successful.  

According to Celtic culture, woodpecker teaches us the art of being opportunistic and creating the lives we truly want.  They remind us the importance of  syncing with the rhythms, patterns, and cycles found in nature.

Some Native American cultures associate the woodpecker’s drumming with the Earth’s own heartbeat.

Woodpecker symbolizes new opportunities knocking on your door. 

Also a symbol of communication, by drumming with with their beak they are able to create reverberatory sounds that can be heard by other woodpeckers miles away.

Their red head represents an awakening of mental activities and higher states.
